Bahn Mi

You don’t have to travel far and wide for a delicious bánh mì!

Ingredients:

  • 4 Pork Spare Ribs, diced

  • 2 tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Oil

  • 2 tbsp kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)

  • 4 Baguettes (or crusty bread rolls)

  • Pate

  • 2 Carrots, peeled into slices

  • 1 bunch Spring Onion

  • 1 Cucumber, peeled into slices

  • Fresh Coriander Leaves

  • 1 Red Chili, finely chopped

SERVES: 4 PREPARATION: 20min

Method

  1. In a large bowl combine the soy sauce and sweet chilli sauce and coat the spare ribs.

  2. Add oil to a large frying pan over medium heat and cook the pork until tender and cooked through.

  3. Assemble each Bahn Mi with pate, coriander, pork, carrot, cucumber, spring onion, and fresh red chilli. Enjoy!
