The story behind Westridge Fruit & Vegetables

Luke Boulus bought Westridge Fruit & Vegetables in 2007.

Westridge Fruit and Vegetables is a family owned and operated business. Working alongside Luke in the business you will see his wife Megan, his brother Matthew who is a partner in the business and Abbey his wife, sister Jacinta and her husband Bart, and long-servicing family employee Jamie. Additional expertise is bought into the business by his mother Kathryn and father Tony. Tony is a true veteran of the industry with over 45 years’ experience.

Altogether we have more than 128 years of combined experience in fruit and vegetables.

Tony has taught his son’s, Luke and Matthew everything he knows about the fruit and vegetable industry. The boys have been involved in the industry their entire lives with their father, grand-father and great grand-father all owning produce businesses. This makes Luke and Matthew fourth generation fruiterers.

At Westridge Fruit & Vegetables we strive to deliver a five-star personalised customer service experience that is memorable. Our team will go above and beyond to fulfil any customer request, no matter how big or small it may be!

We are proud to be a part of the Toowoomba community. Our team thrive on helping as many charities and organisations as possible.

We understand that unfortunately, not all families can afford to eat well. We aim to help promote a healthy lifestyle by donating a box of fruit each week to Bunkers Hill School and St Thomas More’s Primary School. These boxes are for the children that often go to school with no breakfast or fresh produce in their lunch boxes.

We believe that everyone should be treated equally and have the same access to employment opportunites. Two of our wonderful employees have a disability. By offering equal employment opportunities they are able to be engaged in a meaningful way within our community.
